Drawings on Vellum
These are half tracings, half free hand drawings of layered parts of open cadavers. I was trying to manipulate the interior space of the body to read as a strange exterior space. Just like looking at the unfamiliar space of the interior anatomy of a human, I was hoping to further abstract this space but also give it a feeling of openness that is not present within the photographs of the cadavers I was referencing.
