Create In Situ (new media work) > CRIT Creative Reality Institutional Theft

This was a project we did as a booth for the "Internet Market" organized by Chris Romero where we employed an art student in New York to set up a booth that catered to art fair participants. With this fake company, you could hire an art student to be your assistant and do your bidding. We supplied "art luxury assistants" to 4 cities that hosted world famous art fairs, and the art student we employed had a bio on the website of our fake company. This was obviously poking fun at the art market, the commercialism of art fairs, and the low level jobs seem to be reserved for art students just out of school.
